alright, but just a short one:
first of all, the setlist:
Slave Labor
Cyberwaste
Demanufacture
Zero Signal
Shock
Edgecrusher
Scumgrief
Arise Above Oppression
Archetype
Act Of God
Martyr
Replica
well, what´s left to say? singer burton c. bell is acting professional as ever, even though his vocals strongly depend on the use of different filters - but never mind. he does an impressive job on stage and the crowd loved him, which is the main thing.
raymond herrera, drums - I could write endlessly about him, because his drumming is reallyreally awesome. He acts like a well-oiled machine, or like a racing-car - it takes a few laps (the first 2 songs), but when he has reached operating temperature, he seems to be unstoppable.
christian olde wolbers does a very good job on that 7-string (yesss!) jackson-guitar (btw: guess who is the jackson-guitar-girl this year? unfortunately not renee, but almost as lovely!) - his performance fits in nicely to emphasize the power and pressure created by raymond and burton.
the concert as such was far too short, FF did not even play a full hour. maybe this has something to do with the facts that the concert was rescheduled - it should have been an open air concert, but since they did not sell that many tickets they made it to be an indoor thing. that special venue is notorious in vienna because it´s fucking hot in there - we were having 42 degrees celsius in there (which is about 108 degrees fahrenheit) and I guess FF were not amused by this.
To sum it all up, I´d like to say that I was pretty impressed by the gig, FF did well and the crowd loved them. I hope they won´t let us wait another 7 years until they show up again in austria - and I hope they sell more tix and perform in a way larger venue....
